This is "Uncle Rudolph" from the Schultz & Dooley beer club universe. Uncle Rudolph is a sea captain and was originally issued in 1994 by Gerz in Germany. This is 1 of 10,000 first edition beer steins produced. The bottom of the mug reads:

By this stamp on the bottom this was made between 1993-1995.
This mug is not damaged, there is no crazing, chips, cracks or defects. We do not recommend that you put this stein in the dishwasher or microwave. Hand wash only.
