Vintage Hand-Carved Man

This is a fun item. This is a hand-carved Alpine man made out of wood. I can not imagine the amount of time it took the whittler of this piece. The man's face is very detailed, down to his toothless grin and the detailing on the guitar. I wish I were able to load more pictures of this figurine. If there is anything you would like to see, please contact me and I will gladly send it to you. On the bottom is carved "SWISS." I am not sure if that is the person's name or what they intended to name this figurine. I do not know the type of wood this is carved in. He is 7 inches tall.
