Vintage teapot made during the 50s to 60s imported by ENSCOE Japan. This is a dark brown Japanese Redware Moriage teapot with golden trim and accents of gold and raised enamel. This teapot does have some flaws due to age and production. On the side of the teapot, there are some indents. Due to age, some of the gold trim is missing. Also, there are a few places that look like it had enamel at one time. Pictures are posted, and if you would like additional pictures, please contact us. This Moriage/Brown Betty Teapot stands at 4 inches tall. It does hold water and will pour evenly. Washing by hand is suggested if you decide to use it. This is a great piece for your collection, and the flaws give it personality. The price is not firm, and we will consider all offers.
